JACQUIE REVIER
founder

Playtime Costumes began in 2004 when Jacquie Revier, a mother of four, took the talents and love she had used for costuming her kids and built a business.

The Revier kids grew up wearing Jacquie's handmade costumes for halloween, parties, and drama productions. Eventually her personal inventory grew enough that she began to offer her services to local theater productions. The company began with a few costumes stored in her kids' closets which quickly grew to take up an entire bedroom.

After two years the company outgrew the space available in their home which led them to build a barn in her backyard as her workshop. The company continued to grow beyond Jacquie's expectations and in 2010 the business relocated to a 2300 sq. ft. warehouse in Howell.

As more and more theater companies have discovered Playtime Costumes, the staff and inventory have grown exponentially to keep up with the Theater communities demand. Only two years later the company is proud to have a beautiful, new 5000 sq. ft. shop in Freehold.
